Care
Always
follow the manufacturer's directions for care that came with your furniture.
Keep them in a safe place and refer to them often.
Always
dust in the direction of the wood grain using a clean, soft cloth.
Dust
and dirt are abrasives and should be removed by dusting often.
Always
dust with a damp rag as a dry cloth can cause any debris to cause fine
scratches on the wood. Dampen with a dusting product.
A
mild non-alkaline soap with water can also be used to remove dust and
dirt from wood. Just be sure to buff with a clean, dry cloth after to
remove any buildup or film.
Wax
should be applied every six to twelve months. Be sure to remove any
old wax before applying new.
If
your furniture has urethane-finish, do not wax it as waxing these surfaces
causes them to gather dust and dirt rather than repel it.
